Psalm 103:20-22 esv

In the particularly difficult moments of the day, how do you talk to yourself? How do YOU specifically encourage yourself to hope in God? Self talk can bring life or death, discouragement or hope. It's in your court.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm constantly challenged to "bless the Lord" when plowing through adverse situations. David's secret to plowing through circumstances is praising The Redeemer! A heart that was floundering will soon be soaring.

Notice the Psalm (1:1) begins and ends with David directing his soul to "Bless the Lord"

20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word!

21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will!

22 Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Friend, remind yourself of what God has done for you in Christ Jesus. Get prepared with specific passages with which you can rejuvenate your soul and fight the fight of faith. When the days are darkest, don’t let your soul take command. Instruct your soul to BLESS THE LORD!

Poke your fingers in your ears and to the top of your lungs just let 'er rip:
